Meeting – Mythbuntu fails again

Thought that we had ‘cracked it’ with the kernel update two weeks ago, but Mythbuntu failed to start again this week, with what appeared to be the same problem. Failed to load firmware for tuner card.
Jon tried to correct the problem using the notes written by Donald on the wiki, but couldn’t get it working.
We will have to wait for Donald to return and work his magic.

Several of the little Solwise plugs have made an appearance over the past few weeks, and are handy things to have.
These were £34, I have just bought one for £24, £28 including postage, using this link:- Solwise 3G router

We covered it here when Jon first introduced it:- Solwise details

Colin finally managed to get his wireless dongle working with Puppy Linux on his old Toshiba using Ndiswrapper.

Puppy has turned into an excellent little distro, and appears in the distrowatch top 10 on a regular basis.
